There are various island tours available, if you are staying in the south of the island (the tourist hot-spots) then we recommend you take a tour north of the island and see how the climate and vegetation changes dramatically, plus the various cave houses and volcanos, the long and winding mountain roads also offer breathtaking views across the mountains of Gran Canaria.

Here are some of the tours Gran Canaria has to offer;

Discover Gran Canaria

Go from the south to the north of the Island. Starting at Telde, the Southern Capital of the Guanches, then moving on to the charming villages like Arucas (with the unique non-gothic church and most important distillery of Europe) or Firgas. Other stops may include Velleseco, Crus de Tejeda, Ayacata (region of Almond trees), Roque Nublo (Gran Canaria’s symbol). Moreover, San Bartolome de Tirjana with astonishing views over the valley of Santa Lucia. The last panoramic visit will be the village of Fataga with 450 metres of altitude.


Grand Tour

Starting from the south of the island direction west coast with beautiful views over the port of Mogan. First stop is Veneguera, continuing  through La Aldea (importany for tomato growing). Onto Green Sidewalk to Las Nieves port (Agaete) and its ‘Finger of God’, although after a storm a few years ago the ‘finger’ is smaller in size!!

Also passing through Galdar, Guia y San Felipe direction to the Capital of Las Palmas, also stopping at Santa Catalina Park.

Caves and Volcano

You can’t miss the visit to two of the main known villages of the island. Starting from Playa del Ingles moving onto the historical town of Aguimes. Then onto Guayadeque, known for its aborigean culture, cave-houses, cave-chapel, cave-restaurant with traditional canarian food tasting (optional). Continuing onto Bandama taking in the wonderful volcano crater, one of the last volcanic eruptions in Gran Canaria.

Las Palmas Tour

Full day excursion to the capital of the Island – Las Palmas. In the old quarter of the city (known as Vegueta), you have the chance to visit the Cathedral ‘Santa Ana’ and the museum ‘Casa Colon’. Then onto ‘Las Arenas’ a large commercial shopping centre, a good opportunity for lunch with beautiful views over Las Canteras beach and the Auditorium of Alfredo Krauss. Concluding at the Botanical Garden, the biggest in Europe.

Port Mogan Market

Get to know and enjoy the market of Port of Mogan, known also as Little Venice, with its canals and original architecture.

Market in San Mateo and Teror

The best option to enjoy a special Sunday in Gran Canaria. Going through Santa Brigisa, arriving at San Mateo and its agricultural market, with a host of local products, vegetables and flowers. Then climb to the second market situated in the historical and cultural city of Teror with its authentic and traditional appearance. Take a visit to the Basilica of our Lady virgin of the Pine, patron of Gran Canaria.
